The price of local government: Village of Homewood

The Village of Homewood budget was $38.45 million for its 2015 fiscal year, or $4,987.51 per household.

That's an increase of 1.9 percent from 2014, when the village spent $37.72 million, or $4,893.37 per household.

Homewood has 7,709 households and a population of 19,323.
