Report: Which South Suburbs communities saw the most vehicle fires in 2017?

Bedford Park Fire District, Hazelcrest Dept Of Fire Rescue and Calumet Park Fire District reported responding to the most vehicle fire incidents per capita in South Suburbs in 2017, according to the latest state report.

The annual summary of state fire incidents, published by the Illinois State Fire Marshal, records the number and type of fire-related incidents each fire protection district responded to in the calendar year. Fires are categorized as structure fires, vehicle fires or other fires.
