The Southwest Suburban Republicans of Cook County will hold its annual Christmas Party on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Papa Joe’s Italian Restaurant.

The event, scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m., will feature a $25 buffet including pizza and pasta. Papa Joe’s Italian Restaurant is located at 14459 S. La Grange Road in Orland Park. Event attendees are asked to pre-register.

Regular engagement is key for this group as they continue their political activities throughout the year.

An interesting highlight is the involvement of local political candidates who utilize these gatherings as a platform for networking and building connections within the community.

Patricia Bonk, a candidate for State Representative in District 30, shared the event on Facebook.

Illinois’ House District 30 is comprised of the communities of Dolton, South Holland, Harvey, Markham, Oak Forest, Midlothian, and Homewood as well as part of Tinley Park and Olympia Fields.

District 30 is currently represented by State Rep. Will Davis (D-Homewood).
