42 Cook County residents in their thirties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 24, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In total, there have been 6,741 positive cases reported in Cook County among residents in their thirties, accounting for 15.7 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 24, Cook County has reported a total of 42,966 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 2,075 of which have ended with the victim’s death.
