Seven Cook County residents in their seventies tested positive for COVID-19 on July 25, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In total, there have been 2,878 positive cases reported in Cook County among residents in their seventies, accounting for 6.7 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 25, Cook County has reported a total of 43,175 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 2,081 of which have ended with the victim’s death.
