There have been 1,084,662 residents in their 40s in the county who had been tested, meaning that 7.2 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through Jan. 24, there have been 527,325 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 6,223 deaths from the coronavirus in Cook County.
