87 Cook County residents in their twenties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 23, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In total, there have been 6,999 positive cases reported in Cook County among residents in their twenties, accounting for 16.4 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 23, Cook County has reported a total of 42,715 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 2,067 of which have ended with the victim’s death.
