Avila’s 23 points lead Saint Louis past Duquesne 91-76

Robbie Avila, the standout former Oak Forest High School player, was a key factor in Saint Louis Billikens’ 91-76 win over the Duquesne Dukes on Saturday, Feb. 28.

The senior center, standing at 6′10″, posted 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists across 31 minutes of play.

Another former area player also saw action in Saturday’s matchup. Quentin Jones took the court for the Billikens as well.

Jones, a 6′5″ junior guard and Marian Catholic High School alumnus, added 17 points, three rebounds and three assists over 33 minutes.

Saint Louis’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m., when the Billikens host the Loyola Ramblers.
