Chicago Ridge – Barbara J. Duggan, a devoted wife of James for 54 years, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and care. She was a devoted mother to Bridget (Jeff) Lynch, Jimmy (Karen) Duggan, and Bob (Bridget) Duggan, and a proud Mimi to Julia, Brian, Blake, Annie, Charley, Jane, Billy, Jimmy, Maddie, and Bobby. Barbara was also a beloved sister to Andrea Hovey, Robert (Patty) Hovey, Joanna (Mike) Thomas, and the late Catherine Cohan and Mary Kennedy.

Barbara, a dedicated registered nurse and caretaker for over 40 years, will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and commitment to helping others. Family and friends can pay their respects during the visitation on Wednesday at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. The funeral service will take place at Most Holy Redeemer Church.

In memory of Barbara, donations to Special Olympics would be appreciated. May the memory of Barbara’s love and dedication bring comfort to all who knew her during this time of grief.
