Barbara Johnson, 81, of Prophetstown, Illinois, passed away on June 18, 2025. Born in Tinley Park to Rudolph and Rose Schmoock, she married the love of her life, Lesley Johnson, and together raised their children Laurie and Lisa. Barbara found joy in simple pleasures like dancing, horseback riding, camping, and gardening. She was known for her kindness and dedication in her work at a dental office. Barbara is survived by her husband Lesley, daughter Laurie, daughter Lisa, and many relatives and friends. A service to celebrate her life will be held on June 25, 2025, at Homewood Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting a flower in Barbara’s memory.
