TINLEY PARK, Aug. 21 – Carol Joann Gannon, a devoted employee of White Castle for 40 years and a passionate sale shopper, passed away at the age of 68 after a brave battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by her family when she peacefully passed away.

Gannon, beloved wife of Robert D. Gannon, was the daughter of the late Gene P. Weaver and the late Betty Jean Weaver. She is survived by her siblings William, Nancy, Deborah, Patricia, and James. Gannon was also a cherished aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Carol Joann Gannon will be held on Sunday, August 24, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lawn Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL. The funeral service is scheduled for Monday at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
