New Business:

1. Hearing – Discussion and recommendation on a special use application under the Blue Island Zoning Ordinance to allow for a “Transitional Residence, Sober House” in the Single Family (R-1) District [2824 Union Street]

2. Hearing – Discussion and recommendation on a special use application under the Blue Island Zoning Ordinance to allow for a “Truck Terminal” in the Limited Industrial (I-1) District [3500 W 127th Street]

3. Hearing – Discussion and recommendation on a text amendment application under the Blue Island Zoning Ordinance to amend Section 165.023 (“Schedule of Use Controls”) as well as section 4.06.5 (“Land Use Regulations”) of the UTOD Ordinance. This text amendment would remove two family dwellings being permitted by right and three family dwellings being permitted by special use in the UTOD District, and would make corrections to the UTOD Ordinance for consistency in dwelling uses.
