Morrison serves as a commissioner in Cook County—a position responsible for legislative duties affecting one of Illinois’ most populous regions. The reference to “SAO O’Neill Burke” acknowledges Eileen O’Neill Burke’s role as Cook County State’s Attorney after her election victory in November 2024. She succeeded Kim Foxx and campaigned on restoring public trust by emphasizing legal standards over political ideology in prosecutorial decisions.
