Donald Joseph Gross, aged 93, of Orland Park, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann nee Braze and the loving father of Mary Ellen (Wm) Kelly, Janet Gross, Christine (Mark) Maly, and John (Jennifer Perry) Gross. Donald was also the cherished grandfather of Paul Mac Naughton, Colin Gross, Ryan Gross, and Adam Maly. He was the fond brother of David (Lillian) Gross, the late Raymond Gross, and the late Louise Gross, and the dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Donald served in the Air Force during the Korean War for 4 years and later retired from Illinois Bell Telephone/AT&T after 31 years of dedicated service. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael Church, 14327 S. Highland Ave., Orland Park. Inurnment will take place at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park.
