Edward A. Fitzgerald III, devoted husband of Janet Fitzgerald for 45 years, has passed away. He is survived by his children Edward Fitzgerald and Scott Fitzgerald, as well as his grandchildren Sara, Kate, Makenzie, Owen, Ryne, and Ethan. Fitzgerald was a loyal member of IBEW Local 134 for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rose Fitzgerald, and siblings Peggy and James Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald will be remembered as a beloved uncle, cousin, friend, and mentor to many. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. The funeral will take place on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass at St. Christina Church in Chicago. Interment will be private.
