James R. Zander, age 65, dear husband of Nannette Zander, son of the late Richard and Dorothy Zander, and brother of Carol Schuttler, passed away. Loving son-in-law of Arthur and Joanne Velasquez, James was also a fond brother-in-law to Renee Togher, Art Velasquez, Suzanne Sheehy, Danny Velasquez, and Debbie Sasse. He was an adored uncle and great-uncle to many nephews and nieces, and a great friend to numerous individuals.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park. The funeral service will take place on Monday at 9:15 a.m., proceeding to St. Elizabeth Seton Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
