The passing of Joel Waliczek, a devoted husband, father, son, and friend, has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him. Survived by his beloved wife, Linda, and cherished sons, Christian, Jacob, and Caden, Joel’s legacy of love and guidance will forever endure through his family. He also leaves behind his caring mother, Nora, and extended family members who were all touched by his warmth and kindness.
Joel’s impact extended beyond his family, as demonstrated by his 15 years of passionate work in social services, where he uplifted troubled youth with compassion and dedication. In addition to his social work, Joel’s entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly through his successful distribution business, Eco-Chem, where he served his community with care and integrity.
A man of deep faith in Jesus Christ, Joel shared his beliefs and love for the Lord with all those around him, pouring his knowledge and enthusiasm into coaching young athletes and sharing moments of joy with loved ones through sports and games. His presence was a source of warmth and kindness, his integrity unwavering, his generosity boundless.
Visitation for Joel Waliczek will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, with Lying-in-State from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at Grace Point Church in Plainfield, Illinois, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Farimount Willow Hills Cemetery in Willow Springs, Illinois.
