Maria R. Max, aged 75, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025. She was the loving daughter of Luis and Altagracia, and the adoring wife of the late Samuel. Maria was a cherished mother to Jose, Alma, Fidel, Maria, Luis, Johnny, Eliza, Margie, Maribel, Esteban, Rogelio, and her late children Marisela Reyes, Dulce Maria Max, and Samuel C. Max Jr. Maria also had countless caring grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will hold her memory close to their hearts.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Sagrada Familia Funeral Home in Burbank, Illinois followed by a funeral service on Friday morning. The funeral mass will take place at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Chicago, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice. Maria R. Max will be remembered for her love, care, and devotion to her family. May she rest in peace.
