Matthew Anderson, a former Oak Forest High School standout, and his current team, the Aurora Spartans, were defeated by the CMS Stags 84-60 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 6.
The matchup, held at Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse and tipping off at 2:20 p.m., marked the Spartans’ opening game against the CMS Stags in the tournament.
