On Saturday, May 17, former Carl Sandburg High School standout Riley McDoniel’s current collegiate team the Illinois Wesleyan Titans won 5-3 against the Bethany Lutheran Vikings in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
The game took place at Inspiration Field at 11 a.m. and was the second matchup against the Bethany Lutheran Vikings in the tournament.
The Illinois Wesleyan Titans’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 4 p.m. at Del Smith Stadium.
