Former Oak Lawn Community High School standout Ben Cash took the mound for the Purdue Northwest Pride on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m., as the team fell 9-1 to the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers in their NCAA Division II contest.
Panther Park served as the venue for what marked the teams’ third meeting of the season. Earlier that day, also on Saturday, Feb. 28, the Pride had defeated the Panthers 4-0.
In Cash’s appearance, he surrendered five earned runs across one inning with four walks allowed.
The Pride are set to face the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers again in another game scheduled for Sunday, March 1, at 12 p.m. at Panther Park.
