The village of Homewood Senior Advisory Committee met Jan. 23 to report on the I.D. Bracelet Program.

"The Senior Advisory Committee develops short and long-range programs and projects to improve the quality of life for Homewood’s senior citizen population. The Committee has developed a senior transportation program where seniors can ride taxis at a fare of only $2.00, a bracelet I.D. program that helps emergency personnel identify a senior and their important medical information when responding to an emergency, and an elder abuse awareness program."
