Southland Democrats owes $4,825 in fines

The campaign committee Southland Democrats owes a $375 fine imposed on June 3, 2013, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $4,450.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 38 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $128,119 in pending fines.
