Unpaid fines for Harvey-based campaign committees totaled $5,425 in January 2017

Campaign committees in Harvey collectively owe a total of $5,425 in overdue fees, records obtained by the South Cook News show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Harvey were delinquent in payment for January 2017.

The Harvey-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Friends of Eric Patterson, which owes a total of $5,000.

The fine that Friends of Eric Patterson has yet to pay was imposed on May 25, 2012, for violation of board order.

The following table lists all campaign committees in Harvey owing unpaid fines in January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections:
