Unpaid fines for Palos Park-based campaign committees totaled $444 in January 2017

Campaign committees in Palos Park collectively owe a total of $444 in overdue fees, records obtained by the South Cook News show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Palos Park were delinquent in payment for January 2017.

The Palos Park-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Illinois Transparency PAC, which owes a total of $294.

The largest fine that Illinois Transparency PAC has yet to pay was imposed on June 4, 2012, for a late A-1 report. The amount of this fine alone is $194.

The following table lists all campaign committees in Palos Park owing unpaid fines in January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections:
