The calls in Flossmoor included 77 fires - 59 structure fires, five vehicle fires and 12 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $804,400 in fire loss - or about $10,447 per fire.
The department also received 209 false calls, including three malicious calls and 206 other false calls.
The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury.
The Flossmoor Fire, which has three active employees and three retired or inactive employees, was $232,753 in debt as of April 2016, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $3,023 for every fire in 2016.
