The calls in Merrionette Park included 17 fires - 13 structure fires, one vehicle fire and two other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $71,500 in fire loss - or about $4,206 per fire.
The department also received 38 false calls, including one malicious call and 37 other false calls.
