The calls in Roberts Park included 150 fires - 83 structure fires, 29 vehicle fires and 25 other fires. The fire department also responded to 13 calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $578,143 in fire loss - or about $3,854 per fire.
The department also received 429 false calls, including 44 malicious calls and 385 other false calls.
The calls resulted in three civilian fire-related injuries. Additionally, two fire service members were injured in fire-related incidents.
The Roberts Park FPD Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 16 active employees and 18 retired or inactive employees, was $1,008,516 in debt as of April 2016, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $6,723 for every fire in 2016.
