Analysis: Chicago Ridge pays $6.56 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Chicago Ridge Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 86.8 percent of the $2,050,894 the Chicago Ridge Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $6.56 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Chicago Ridge contributed $1,781,037 to the fund, which saw a $77,064 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $271,320, or 13.2 percent, in 2016.
