Analysis: Hazel Crest pays $2.01 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Country Club Hills Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 67.1 percent of the $1,604,388 the Country Club Hills Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.01 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Hazel Crest contributed $1,076,041 to the fund, which saw a $182,499 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $534,829, or 33.3 percent, in 2016.
