Analysis: Palos Heights pays $3.04 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Palos Fpd Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.3 percent of the $1,106,154 the Palos Fpd Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.04 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Palos Heights contributed $832,890 to the fund, which saw a $122,937 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $273,265, or 24.7 percent, in 2016.
