Analysis: Palos Heights pays $2.61 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Palos Heights Fpd Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 72.5 percent of the $641,635 the Palos Heights Fpd Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.61 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Palos Heights contributed $465,116 to the fund, which saw a $40,390 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $177,805, or 27.7 percent, in 2016.
