Analysis: Justice pays $1.96 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Roberts Park Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 65.9 percent of the $419,373 the Roberts Park Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $1.96 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Justice contributed $276,451 to the fund, which saw a $117,218 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $140,432, or 33.5 percent, in 2016. Another $2,490 came from other unspecified sources.
