Report: Ford Heights spent $25,082 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Ford Heights School District 169 is down 0 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $25,166 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $25,082 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 473 to 434.

Ford Heights's spending in 2016-17 was 93 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
