Report: Country Club Hills spent $14,276 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Country Club Hills School District 160 is up 22 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $11,716 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $14,276 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1307 to 1203.

Country Club Hills's spending in 2016-17 was 10 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
