Report: West Harvey-Dixmoor spent $13,875 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at West Harvey-Dixmoor Public School District 147 is up 9 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $12,719 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $13,875 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1394 to 1150.

West Harvey-Dixmoor's spending in 2016-17 was 7 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
