Crestwood Fire Department responded to 444 calls in 2017 - 6.3 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Crestwood included 91 fires - 68 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 20 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $48,500 in fire loss - or about $533 per fire.

The department also received 352 false calls, including three malicious calls and 349 other false calls.
