According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 28 students during the year. That equates to 9.8 percent of the 287 students enrolled.
Of the 28 out-of-school suspensions, 17 were given to boys and 11 were given to girls, all of whom were elementary or middle schoolers.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 20 incidents. There were six incidents of violence without physical injury. For 12 incidents, students were suspended for 1-3 days.
