Village of Lansing issued the following announcement on Sept. 15.
The 2018 T.F. South Homecoming Parade will be held on Wednesday, September 19th beginning at 5:15 p.m. The parade route this year will include South Schultz Drive, 186th Street between Sherman and Chicago Avenue, and Chicago Avenue back to the west side school entrance. There will be temporary road closures on 186th Street and Burnham Avenue during this time. Please plan accordingly.
We hope you can find a few minutes to support the Rebel students, clubs, staff and administration along the parade route. After the parade, the school will continue the Homecoming Week festivities with the traditional Powder Puff football game, Battle of the Classes, Homecoming Court and King/Queen announcement, and Fireworks display. Post-parade activities are scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m.
