School discipline: Which South Suburbs districts reported the most suspensions due to dangerous weapons?

Rich Township High School District 227, Thornton Township High School District 205 and Country Club Hills School District 160 reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to a dangerous weapon during the 2016-17 school year in South Suburbs, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
