Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
South Suburban Special Recreation Association (SSSRA) provides therapeutic recreation programs for children & adults with special needs. It is the mission of SSSRA: “To promote the power of choice and to enhance the quality of life of individuals of all abilities, by providing accessible recreation in an environment that promotes dignity, success, and fun.”
#GivingTuesday is November 27, 2018, and SSSRA is proud to be a part of the global celebration of giving. Last year, SSSRA held its first #GivingTuesday campaign, raising more than $1,000. Our goal for 2018 is $3,000. Any donations made on #GivingTuesday will help us continue to offer free and discounted programs and special events for our residents.
On November 27, please visit http://sssra.org/index.html, click the “#GivingTuesday Donate” button, and make your donation to help us meet our goal. Online donations are made through PayPal, and you can use your PayPal account or a credit/debit card. Donations can also be made by sending in a check or calling in a credit card.
