Village of Tinley Park issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
Road construction along Oak Park Avenue is nearing completion. Iroquois Paving this week removed all of the remaining temporary stone ramps and began pouring the hot-mix asphalt.
The final surface hot-mix asphalt will be done in spring 2019 due to weather conditions currently being too cold to pour the last surface course. The base course of asphalt will be put in place, and all four lanes of traffic will be reopened to traffic by the middle of next week.
