Q2 real estate sales report: Orland Park

Median prices rose in Orland Park over last year, and are down 9.1 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 351 homes sold in Orland Park for a median price of $262,000. That's 0.7 percent higher than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, 21 homes in Orland Park were in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Orland Park was $6,466.70 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.5 percent of their home's value in taxes.
