Village of Orland Park issued the following announcement on Dec. 14.
Steve and Marty Darvin, co-owners of Darvin Furniture, recently accepted the 2018 Leadership Award, a national honor for the #OrlandPark based furniture retailer. Darvin shared the national stage with Amazon.com and Haverty’s. The award was presented by Furniture Today, a leading publication in the furniture industry.
“The Furniture Today Industry Leadership Awards are presented to companies that have demonstrated sustained excellence, passion for the furniture business and a commitment to the communities in which they operate,” said Bill McLoughlin, editor-in-chief of Furniture Today. “The Darvin family epitomizes all three of those attributes. We are honored to recognize such an exceptional organization and the people who make it such an industry leader.”
Created in 1920, Darvin Furniture is an industry leader and Chicagoland's largest furniture and mattress store. One of the top 100 furniture retailers in the country, Darvin Furniture's showroom is located on 11 acres in Orland Park.
