VILLAGE OF TINLEY PARK: Someone recently cut the lights to the Village holiday tree in Zabrocki Plaza

Village of Tinley Park issued the following announcement on Dec. 15.

Someone recently cut the lights to the Village holiday tree in Zabrocki Plaza and damaged the life-sized ornament sitting adjacent to the Oak Park Avenue train station. While both decorations have since been repaired, the Village will be vigorously investigating the vandalism and will pursue criminal damage to property charges against those responsible. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is encouraged to call the Tinley Park Police Department’s non-emergency number at (708) 532-9111.
