Village of Evergreen Park President and Board of Trustees met December 17. 

Here is the agenda as provided by the board:

I. Call to Order: by Mayor Sexton.


II. Roll Call: by the Village Clerk.

III. Pledge of Allegiance: by Trustee Marzullo.

IV. Open Public Forum: Members of the audience are invited to participate. Be prepared to state your name and address, for the record, and please limit your comments to a maximum of 3 minutes.

V. Topics for Board Discussion and Action Only:

      1. Approval of Minutes: December 3, 2018.

      2. Approval of Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes dated November 13, 2018 on the following matters:

            A. Five lot residential subdivision for the property at 8956 S. Troy.

            B. Request for Special Use in “C” Commercial District for property at 3923-3925 W. 95th Street.

            C. Request for Special Use in the “C” Commercial District for the property at 3801 W. 95th Street.

      3. Board action on Resolution NO. 4–2018.

      4. Village Treasurer’s report for November 2018 for information and file.

      5. Board action on Application for Business Regulation Certificates.

      6. Request Board approval of the following Ordinance(s):

            A. ORDINANCE NO. 35-2018: “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION, 24-203, SEWER RATES, OF CHAPTER 24, WATER, SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL, OF THE EVERGREEN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE BY CHANGING THE WASTEWATER SERVICE CHARGE.”

      7. Request Board approval of Agreement between the Illinois Council of Police and the Village of Evergreen Park covering Evergreen Park Patrol Officers – May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2021.

      8. Request from Fire Chief Ron Kleinhaus to purchase a new Wheeled Coach ambulance to replace a 2008 ambulance.

      9. Village Engineer’s report.

      10. Village Attorney Vince Cainkar’s report.

      11. Reports on bid openings, bid lettings and disbursements.

      12. Department heads report.

      13. Miscellaneous correspondence.

     14. Request adjournment to Executive Session to discuss real estate, personnel, and litigation.

VI. Adjournment: The Open Meeting Act provides for public bodies to meet in sessions closed to the public to discuss certain subject matters. No official action can be taken at a closed session; therefore, any decision reached by the Board will be ratified at a subsequent public meeting.

To facilitate closing this building during the continued meetings, we would appreciate your vacating the Council Chambers in a timely fashion.
