Village of Park Forest issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
A lottery drawing for ballot placement for those candidates running for the office of Village Mayor in the April 2019 election will be held on Wednesday, Dec.26, 2018 at 4 p.m.
A lottery drawing is required when more than one candidate is present at the opening of business (9 a.m.), on the first day of filing (Dec. 10, 2018), to file their petitions.
The candidates who will be in the lottery drawing are:
Mae Brandon
Renee Hawthorne
Jonathan Vanderbilt
Candidates need not be present for the lottery drawing; Candidates will be advised of their ballot placement following the drawing. For questions, please call Angela Thurston, Deputy Village Clerk, at 708-283-5605.
