City of Burbank Council met Nov. 28.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting of November 28, 2018 was called to order at7:30 pm by Mayor Dan M. Foy in the council chambers at 6530 west 79th Street Burbank. Il.

ROLL CALL

Mayor Foy requested a roll call which indicated the following members present: Alderwoman Barb Gagle, Alderman Robert Contreras, Alderwoman Sheri Gustafson, Alderman James Grider, Alderman John Pacella, Alderman Mitchell Piznarski, Alderman Jason Pyle, Mayor Dan M. Foy, Clerk Barry J. Szymczak, Treasurer Dean Viverito and City Attorney Vince Cainkar.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Mayor Foy asked all to rise for the pledge of Allegiance.

JOURNAL

Alderman James Grider made a motion seconded by Alderman Robert Contreras to approve the minutes of November 14, 2018. The motion was unanimously approved by voice vote and so declared by the Chair.

CURRENT BILLS

Alderman Grider then made a motion seconded by Alderwoman Sheri Gustafson to approve the current list of bills. A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays. Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Grider, Alderman Pacella, Alderman Piznarski and Alderman Pyle.

DEPT. OF PUBLIC SAFETY

Alderwoman Barb Gagle made a motion seconded by Alderwoman Gustafson to adopt Ordinance # 36-11-18 adding Section 7-706,Animal Care, to Chapter 7, Health, of the Municipal Code of the City of Burbank, Cook County, Illinois. A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays. voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Grider, Alderman Pacella, Alderman Piznarski and Alderman Pyle.

DEPT. OF ADMINISTRATION

Mayor Foy Asked various Department Heads for activity reports. Chief Richard Shore reported that uniforms for the Code Enforcement officers should be in within 14 days and training will begin. Chief Dave Gilgenberg II reported that the 2 new ambulances were being assembled and that the City should be taking delivery in late January Z0lg. He also said that the new heart monitors are being field tested prior to purchase. public Works Director Bili Trovato reported that the new dump truck is 50 % completed and that the City should be taking delivery in late January / early February 2019.

Mayor Foy also reported that Wash U should be opening on or about December 5th.

The Chair then invited anyone from Reavis High School to have their government class forms signed at the adjournment of the Council Meeting.

MOTION TO ADJOURN

There being no further business, the Chair asked for a motion to adjourn. The motion was made by Alderwoman Gustafson and seconded by Alderwoman Gagle with unanimous voice approval and so declared by the Chair.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:36 pM.
