Village of Tinley Park issued the following announcement on Jan. 22.
The Village of Tinley Park, in conjunction with the Cook County Department of Transportation, will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 in the Kallsen Center at Village Hall, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, to discuss upcoming improvements to 175th Street from Oak Park Avenue to approximately 600 feet east of Ridgeland Avenue; Ridgeland Avenue from approximately 600 feet south of 175th Street north to Oak Forest Avenue; and Oak Forest Avenue from Ridgeland Avenue to 1,100 feet east.
