Report: Community Consolidated School District 168 spent $21,664 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Community Consolidated School District 168 is up 79.3 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $12,083 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $21,664 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1526 to 1414.

Community Consolidated School District 168's spending in 2017-18 was 62.4 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
